with a research project, I contacted Ming. She
assisted me with the development of a website
on which I can test the usefulness of new ways
to make wildland fire science more accessible
to fire managers. She quickly understood what
I was trying to do. She did not just provide

about web design, of course, but also advice
on how people use the internet to communicate
and what is needed to make a site work well.
